I am Carol Monteiro a regular mom and employee turned entrepreneur.

But it wasn’t all that long ago that I lacked confidence, money and time to focus on growing my small but mighty business.

Fastforward and many failed attempts and lessons learned, and you will see the business I have today. One that changes lives and gives me more freedom that I ever thought possible. One that used to only exist as a day dream.

..and I did it all by building a brand around my skills, and today I get to teach others to do the same.

JUST A FEW YEARS AGO, I SHIFTED MY FOCUS FROM ACCELERATING MY CORPORATE CAREER TO FOCUSING ON MY TRANSITION PLAN OF RETIRING WITH A LAPTOP LIFESTYLE

Although it was my husband who first initiated the thought, I felt pulled toward a life of more freedom, more meaning and less monotony.

After working for over 6 years in the airline and hospitality industry, I joined my husband in North America. Having to start from scratch, I soon found myself in a job to support our young family and started slipping into a life of an “everyday mom”.

Over the years into working, both my husband and I felt something missing. We found ourselves in a rutt and felt the need to shake things up. I found myself waiting for the work day to be over to be able to get home and be with the family and found myself living for the weekends.

With most of my immediate family back in India, we found ourselves having to return there periodically.

In doing so, we started exploring other places along the way. Soon we realized we started living for our vacations. What brought us excitement was planning trips, looking into flights and just exploring other worlds and cultures.

If you can relate to us… we were that couple who had the next trip thought off before the current one came to an end.

We spent oodles of time talking about past trips and planning the next. We wanted to give our kids this amazing experience of travel and had them visiting over 34 countries before my son turned 20 and daughter 17.

I did all of this when in a full time job and I wanted to find way of being able to do more of this in a way that I could share my journey while also earning an income from it.

I started To Ask Myself Questions Like....

“IS THIS WHAT REAL LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO FEEL LIKE”

“DO I REALLY WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE IN THIS CYCLE”

“WHAT IF I TOOK CONTROL OF MY FUTURE, MY DAY-TO-DAY, MY FINANCES?”

“WHAT IF STOPPED TELLING MYSELF ‘YOU COULD NEVER’ AND STARTED SAYING

“LET’S GIVE IT A SHOT AND SEE WHERE IT GOES”

So I did just that…

I set up a Facebook Group, a Business page, a Blog and started an Instagram account focussed on travel, online business, lead generation, affiliate and social media marketing… things I had taught myself to do, things I could help others with.

….as I write this I have no idea how big this will grow…. but what I do know is there are many like me who will benefit from what I have to share here.

Some know me as a Success Mentor and a Business Strategist for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to leave behind their corporate career in favour of building their own dream business.

Working my way up from a Marketing Assistant I have worked in the Hospitality, Tourism, Insurance, Financial and Public Sector.

With exposure to various industries, I realized that there’s a proven method for creating wealth and being successful, which I had the chance to try out on my own.

When I’am not showing women how to build profitable businesses around their own brilliance, you can find me running, cycling, adventuring outdoors, drinking wine and hanging out with my family in Toronto or the United States of America and on occasion India.

There’s no great secret to creating a massively profitable business that aligns with your dream reality. There is, however, a step-by-step system that gets you there. If you can follow a recipe, you can follow my advice and start living the life you most desire.

GOAL SETTING

Listen, if you don’t have goals, you won’t get very far and will quit at the first sign of distress. Goal setting is huge for your route to the top. I set goals daily and put them on a board in front of me. I hold myself accountable and break down each goal into little tiny pieces so they are easy to achieve. Not having goals is like getting into a car and not having a destination. You need goals!
